Bolivia holds the second-largest natural gas reserves in South America, behind Venezuela. Ecuador has roughly 4.5 billion in oil reserves; it exported 376,000 barrels of oil a day in 2006, over half of which went to the United States. Ecuador is the smallest oil producer in OPEC.
